My Design Philosophy

Ever since I was a child, I have had a love for making things more beautiful. While lots of little girls were styling Barbie, I was redecorating her house and making furnishings and accessories with anything that I could find. I believe that using my imagination and resourcefulness to create what was in my head at such a young age, has made me the creative “think outside the box” designer that I am today. It also made me look at  forgotten or neglected objects in a new way.  I was “green” before it was cool to be.

Today, my design philosophy is quite simple; use what you have when you can, but make it unrecognizably fabulous when you are done. It is such a thrill to transform something plain and ordinary into something magical and useful. It is also essential that one’s personal space be organized and purposeful, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

Any home or business renovation can be intimidating and overwhelming at times. It is my goal to make the design process as enjoyable, exciting and valuable as possible.

I thoroughly enjoy working with and teaching my clients. It is a great privilege to be part of making one of their most valuable monetary investments, their home and/or business, not only more beautiful, but more personal, functional and enjoyable.
